Location: Abragão, Penafiel

Abragão is located in Penafiel (Porto district).
It was founded by Queen Mafalda (wife of King Afonso Henriques) in 1170, and later belonged to the Couto de Vila Boa de Quires, property of the Marquis de Fontes.
In The illustrious and noble Monteiro de Vasconcelos Guedes Mourão family are from this clientage, and was awarded in the 19th century with the title of Vicount of Bovieiro.
